Top: Snow Covered Log
Middle: Fallen Log
Bottom: Oil painted Log
These photos that I took are in the Nichols Arboretum. This is during spring break, so there is still snow on the ground. I like the contrast and different values that the greens and browns showed in the picture. A triumph in the picture is getting the picture to be in high focus. An error that happened when i took the photo was actually taking a good picture that was in focus.

Top: Blue Sky and Trees
Middle: Blue Sky and Clouds
Bottom: Blue Sky and Clouds Oil painting
These photos were also taken in the Nichols Arboretum and also during spring break. In these photos, I liked how the sky created a strong background and the trees created a strong foreground. In addition, I like the angle in which i took the photo; and the lighting. A success about this photo was getting a strong contrast between the sky and the trees. A error in the photo was how some of the clouds provided a little noise in the photo.

Top: Rocky Landscape
Middle: Snow on the Ground
Bottom: Snow on the Ground Oil Paint
These pictures were taken in the Nichols Arboretum, during spring break. In the first photo, i really like the contrast shown between the color of the rocks, snow, and trees. Also, the rocks give the picture some texture. And triumph in taking this photo was getting the focal point without too much noise. An error of the photo was getting the picture in focus.

Top: The Tree and the Reflection
Middle: Serene Water
Bottom: Serene Water Oil Paint
I took these photos in the Nichols Arboretum during Spring Break. In the top photo, I liked how the selective focus was the tree and the reflection in the water below it. The white of the waves of the water and the murky color provided a good contrast. A triumph of the photo was getting the picture in focus. An error of these photos was getting the picture to not be too gray and boring.

Top: Sky + Water + Ground
Middle: Grass Meets Water
Bottom: Grass Meets Water Oil Paint
I took these photos in the Nichols Arboretum. This is during spring break. Cropping the middle picture made the photo more interesting and created a focal point in the photo. A triumph in the photo was the contrast. An error in the photo was getting the picture not to be boring and gray.
